An Off Day

Guidelines:
"This collection of photos comes from a place of lacking creative drive. Sometimes you need to not put any pressure on what you want to do or what people expect you to do and just do it- no guidelines, no rules. A big part of fashion photography that makes it so alluring is the spontaneity of everything.
Spontaneity can mean so many things: going to your friends house and just picking things from her closet to take pictures in then driving around until you find a spot that will “do the trick”, walking around OTR dipping in and out of stores you ask if you can take pictures of with no idea what the end goal is, and ending up in a vintage store that opened literally four days before you walked in—just to find out the owner and buyer is holding a shaky chihuahua she was petsitting and allows (or makes) you to pet it all while giving you permission to have a legitimate photo shoot in her store for over an hour. But that was just my day really, and I’m glad I brought my camera along with me to capture these moments of spontaneity."
