"This image is simply the product of exploration in photoshop tools and color combinations. I created this piece with no end goal in mind, letting my feelings and investigation drive the creation. My hands were simply the machine and my mind the driver. This work displays a variety of textures—the solid blue and peach background, the translucent orange streaks, and the pop art-y girl—making the composition layered and exciting. The colors remind me of the blanket that is summer warmth, but yet still finding the cool refreshment to make the temperature not too overwhelming."
